INTENSE PULSE LIGHT (IPL)

Known as IPL or Photofacial- these treatments target pigmented spots-sun damaged and aging skin.  Including superficial pigmentation (brow spots) and telangectasias (broken blood vessels).  This treatment will also reduce the redness from patient's suffering from Rosacea and Malasma.

How Does It Work?
 
All light based Skin Rejuvenation treatments work by omitting light from an IPL to actual heat to treat the area. The heat will stimulate the collagen which will tighten the skin, reduces redness and lightens the pigmentation. After a series of treatments the overall texture and appearance of the skin improves and the result is a more youthful looking skin!

What Is The Treatment Like?

Here at Davinci Skin Care Center we make the patient most comfortable by applying a topical numbing cream prior to the treatment.  During the treatment a mild warming sensation may be felt and the use of high-intensity flashlamps may be noticed.  Immediately following the procedure the patient may apply makeup and return to work.

What to expected Immediately after Treatment.

Each patient is different, some patient's may experience mild redness, some patient's brown spots may be come darker and some may appear to have had a facial.  These treatments are spread out over the course of three weeks and the skin will improve more over time.
